To celebrate its 70th anniversary, the Bregenzer Festspiele revived its first ever operatic performance: Mozart's Bastien und Bastienne, on a floating stage docked just off Bregenz's main promenade.

Riffing on the original set, this production updated Mozart's first opera for the social media generation with a young and exciting cast who sailed, danced and polaroid-snapped their way through the story for a hooked audience of 3000.
